Where Sustainable Exploration Governs

Sustainable Exploration governs decision integrity at the points where irreversible commitments may occur before uncertainty is resolved.

Jurisdiction arises when three conditions are present:

Irreversible exposure is possible. The decision may fix infrastructure placement, disturb subsurface systems, harden network topology, transfer institutional authority, or establish precedent.
Uncertainty remains structurally unresolved. Critical physical, environmental, or institutional conditions cannot be fully resolved before the commitment decision must be made.
Authority to refuse still exists. The decision authority retains the ability to defer or refuse the commitment before irreversible exposure occurs.

When these conditions are present, Sustainable Exploration may issue decision governance instruments.

engineering design decisions
commercial project development
performance forecasting
routine project management

These matters belong to engineers, developers, and operators. Our role is narrower and upstream: to determine whether irreversible commitments remain admissible before authority collapses.
